The Kevin De León (KDL) Recall Effort is organized by CD 14 UNITED, A NON-PARITSIAN COALITION lead by CD 14 residents. A true grassroots, locally-driven effort.

The CD 14 community deserves honesty, transparency, and a four-year commitment from a full-term councilperson who will not abandon us! CD 14 UNITED has no confidence or trust in KDL.
No healing can even begin to take place until he resigns or is recalled. Then, and only then, can the healing and rebuilding process take place.

Only CD 14 Register Voters can sign. Signatures from other neighborhoods will unfortunately not be valid, and therefore not counted. If you are not yet registered, visit the CA Secretary of State website at https://registertovote.ca.gov/ .
But there’s more! If you lived in CD14 during the 2020 elections, but later either moved away or were re-districted to another CD, YES!!! You can sign our petition.

CD 14, short for L.A. City Council District 14, encompasses portions of the following neighborhoods: Downtown, Boyle Heights, Eagle Rock, El Sereno, Garvanza, Part of Highland Park, Part of Lincoln Heights, Arts District Little Tokyo .
Your information will NOT be sold or shared with anyone outside our organization. CD 14 United Coalition, the group organizing this recall, officially requested and obtained the public record list of voters registered within the official boundaries of City District 14. This information will only be used to identify qualified signees for the petition and canvassing.
The Election Clerk Office gave us less than 120 days, until March 31st, to collect 20,437 signatures. We need YOUR help to collect these signatures and promote this recall effort. All signatures must come from CD 14 REGISTERED VOTERS ONLY.
Take on the role of a Recall Captain! You can lead a mini petition drive by having your CD 14 family, neighbors and friends sign the petition.

- Use the address that you were registered to during the NOVEMBER 2022 election. If you have moved since the last election, please use the address where you were registered during the election.

No. The recall’s objective is to give CD 14 residents the opportunity to practice their California Constitutional Right to recall an elected official they deem unfit for public office. We are facilitating this process by presenting the petition document to you directly. The recall group will not protest at any event or business. Placing a petition sign up table at any public location or invited location is not a protest, but a practice of our rights.
